THE ORIGIN

Off the Grid, From a Village of 600

Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos run The Uncharted Whisky Company from Fintry, a village tucked into the Campsie Fells north of Glasgow. Between them they've traded casks, managed specialist shops, built single cask programs, and hosted tastings across Scotland's drinks industry. They left all of it to do exclusively the thing they love: find extraordinary whisky.

They work through hundreds of casks to find the few that pass what they call the Jack and Dana test. If they don't both love it, it doesn't get bottled. Everything is done by hand, in tiny batches. Their first release sold out in three weeks. They don't follow a bottling schedule. The cask is ready when it's ready.

Off the Grid by Design

The Village
Jack and Dana run Uncharted from Fintry, a village of about 600 people tucked into the Campsie Fells north of Glasgow. No warehouse district, no whisky row. Just a quiet village and two people working through hundreds of casks to find the ones worth bottling.
The Art Deco Bottle
Every Uncharted release comes in the same distinctive fluted decanter, art deco lines running up the glass. The bottle is the constant. The liquid inside is always the variable. Beautiful glassware for whiskies that earned their place inside it.
