A Repeatable LBD, A Taste Of Home
Most Little Brown Dog releases are single casks you will never see again. This is the opposite — a core whisky in the LBD style, made so people can pick up a second bottle or come back to one they loved. Distilled, matured, vatted and bottled in Aberdeenshire, ten minutes from LBD HQ.
The recipe stays broadly the same batch to batch: 60% first-fill bourbon barrels, 40% oloroso and PX sherry casks, refill and first fill. Batches run around 2,000 bottles — big for LBD, small by industry standards — each hand-numbered, with the small variation between them something to celebrate.
Natural colour. Never chill filtered.

- A Highland distillery at Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire, founded in 1797 — ten minutes from LBD's bond.
- LBD use the distillate openly but keep this as their own identity: they are the whisky makers here.
- Surrounded by the malting-barley fields and Highland distilleries of the north-east.
Cask profile, bourbon and sherry
A vatting of 60% first-fill bourbon barrels with 40% oloroso and PX sherry casks, refill and first fill — the same vatting as LBD's PPP.
The result is a balanced, old-fashioned style of unpeated Highland malt at a fair, everyday price.
