The Whiskey Lab Giveaway Club: Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE INCREASES YOUR NUMBER OF ENTRIES ONLY AS DESCRIBED BELOW, AND THE FREE MAIL-IN METHOD EARNS THE SAME BONUS ENTRIES AT THE SAME CAP. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The Whiskey Lab ("Sponsor"). Prize fulfillment is handled by Sponsor's licensed retail partner in Washington, DC.

2. The Club and eligibility

The Whiskey Lab Giveaway Club (the "Club") is a free membership. Joining requires a name, valid email address, US ZIP code, and subscription to Sponsor's marketing email (sent approximately once per month). The Club runs recurring quarterly prize drawings. Registration is required for each drawing: members enter a given quarterly drawing by submitting the registration form (or mail-in entry) during that drawing's window. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older. One membership per person; one registration per person per drawing. Employees of Sponsor, its retail partner, and their immediate family members are not eligible.

Registration must be completed personally by the entrant using the entrant's own legal first and last name exactly as they appear on a government-issued photo ID, the entrant's own working email address, and the entrant's date of birth. Entries submitted by any automated means (scripts, bots, bulk-account services, or any method other than a person completing the form), entries using fabricated, disposable, or bulk-created email accounts, and entries that do not correspond to a real, identifiable natural person are invalid and void, whether or not Sponsor detects them before the drawing.

3. Drawings, windows, and prizes

The Club runs one drawing per calendar quarter. For each drawing, the prize, the entry window (the "Drawing Window"), and the drawing date are published on that drawing's registration page, reached from thewhiskeylab.com/pages/win, and in the Club email. Those three items on the registration page control for that drawing. Entries and bonus entries must be received (or postmarked, for mail-in) within the Drawing Window. The next quarter's prize is announced at the current quarter's drawing.

Drawing schedule. Q3 2026: Whispering Waters Hero Release Macduff 45; window August 19 to September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET; drawing on or about October 2, 2026. Q4 2026: window opens at the Q3 drawing and closes December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET; drawing on or about January 5, 2027; prize announced at the Q3 drawing. Later quarters will be added here as they open.

4. Entries

(a) New members: registering for the current drawing (online on that drawing's registration page, reached from thewhiskeylab.com/pages/win, or by mail per (c)) as a first-time Club member earns 2 entries.

(b) Returning members: members who joined the Club before the Drawing Window opened and who register for the current drawing during its window receive 1 entry. Registration for each drawing is required; members who do not register for a drawing are not entered in it.

(c) Mail-in (free): email info@thewhiskeylab.com with the subject "Mail-in entry address" to receive the mailing address at no cost. Then hand-print your full name, email address, ZIP code, date of birth, and the statement "Giveaway Club entry" on a 3x5 card and mail it in an envelope to that address. Each envelope must be mailed separately. A first mail-in registers you for the current drawing and earns the same base entries as registering online (2 entries for new members, 1 entry for returning members), plus 2 bonus entries per additional envelope, up to 3 envelopes, mirroring the purchase bonus exactly. Mail-in entrants receive a personal referral link by email and may earn referral entries on the same terms as online members.

5. Bonus entries

(a) Orders: each order placed at thewhiskeylab.com during the Drawing Window using the email address on your membership earns 2 additional entries, up to a maximum of 3 orders (maximum 6 bonus entries from orders). Order value and bottle count do not affect entries.

(b) Referrals: each person who joins the Club through your personal referral link during the Drawing Window and is verified as a valid member earns you 1 additional entry. Referrals are unlimited. Self-referrals and duplicate memberships do not count.

(c) Bonus entries apply to the current drawing only; each new drawing starts from the base entries in Section 4.

(d) Unsubscribing after a drawing does not affect entries earned during that drawing's window; unsubscribing ends Club membership and eligibility to register for future drawings until re-subscribed.

6. Verification and invalid entries

Entries are validated by email confirmation and one-membership-per-person deduplication; duplicate or suspicious entries (including multiple entries under the same name and ZIP code) may be reviewed. An entry is invalid if it was submitted by automated means, uses a fabricated, disposable, or bulk-created email account, does not correspond to a real natural person, or contains registration details that do not match the entrant's government-issued photo ID. Sponsor may remove invalid entries from the entry pool at any time, before or after a drawing, and recompute entry totals accordingly; referral entries earned from invalid registrations are void. Suspected fraudulent entries are flagged for human review; Sponsor's decisions are final. Any attempt to manipulate a drawing through automated or fraudulent entries may be referred to law enforcement.

7. Prizes

Each drawing awards one (1) bottle of a Whispering Waters or other Whiskey Lab release, identified with its approximate retail value on that drawing's registration page. One winner per drawing. Alcohol delivery is available only where Sponsor's licensed retail partner may lawfully ship; where it may not, the winner receives store credit of equal value instead. Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes. No cash substitution except as stated. Adult signature (21+) required on delivery. Prizes are non-transferable. Where a prize has not yet arrived in Sponsor's inventory at the time of the drawing, it ships when it does, and the winner is told the expected date.

8. Drawing

On or about the drawing date published for that quarter, one winner will be selected by a seeded random drawing weighted by each member's total valid entries, computed fresh at drawing time from the verified entry records. The drawing will be streamed live on Sponsor's Instagram. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries. The winner will be notified by email.

To claim the prize, the selected member must, within 7 days of notification: (a) respond from the registered email address; (b) sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release; and (c) provide a legible copy of a government-issued photo ID. The first and last name on the ID must match the name on the registration, the ID must show that the winner is 21 or older, and the date of birth on the ID must match the date of birth given at registration. If any requirement is not met or the deadline passes, the selection is void and an alternate winner is drawn from the remaining valid entries. Sponsor may repeat this process until a qualified winner is confirmed.

9. Publicity

By entering, members agree that Sponsor may use the winner's first name, last initial, state, and likeness in Club and giveaway announcements without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

10. General

By joining, members agree to these rules and Sponsor's privacy policy, and release Sponsor and its retail partner from liability arising from the Club, any drawing, or any prize. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify a drawing if fraud or technical failure compromises its integrity. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, LinkedIn, Google, or any social platform. Please enjoy responsibly.
