The Campbeltown Connection is North Star Spirits' answer: their own mix of Springbank, Glen Scotia and other Campbeltown malts, married together and bottled as a 10 year old blended malt that tastes like the town itself.

Region profile, Campbeltown
- In the Victorian era Campbeltown was the whisky capital of the world: a single small town on the Kintyre peninsula with more than 30 working distilleries.
- The crash of the 1920s wiped the region out. Today only three remain: Springbank, Glen Scotia, and Glengyle, making Campbeltown Scotland's smallest whisky region.
- Scarcity turned the survivors into cult names. Springbank in particular sells on strict allocation worldwide, and bottles rarely touch shelves at retail price.
- The house style of the region: briny, oily, lightly smoky, with a rugged coastal funk that no other region replicates.
The blend
A blended malt contains only single malt whiskies, no grain whisky. This one is built entirely from casks distilled in Campbeltown, which is a category of exactly three possible sources.
Springbank brings the oily, lightly peated complexity it is famous for; Glen Scotia adds the salty, maritime backbone of the town's harbour-side style. North Star marries them with other Campbeltown stock into a whole that drinks bigger than its parts.
At 50.7% the blend keeps its texture and weight: salty, waxy, and gently smoky, with the region's signature character intact. For drinkers chasing allocated Campbeltown bottles, this is the same postcode in an honest package at an honest price.
