What this is

A small, curated Speyside week built for people who care about depth, access, and collector-level tastings, not a scripted bus-tour checklist.

We begin in Edinburgh with a behind-the-scenes bottling hall visit and a private independent bottler tasting dinner. Then we move into Speyside for a run of premium distillery experiences, a dedicated golf day, and a collector-focused Gordon & MacPhail session.

The schedule intentionally includes open blocks for rest, bottle shopping, packing, and optional bar nights. Saturday afternoon and evening are left open in Edinburgh so Sunday airport departures are easy.

FAQ

What is the group size and how do we travel?

The group is limited to 6 guests, plus Jay as the driver and host. We will travel together in a large van (typically a Mercedes Vito or similar), which keeps logistics simple and allows us to move efficiently between Edinburgh and Speyside.

How does luggage work in the van?

Space is good but not unlimited. Plan for one full-size suitcase per guest. A backpack is usually fine, but on longer drive days it may need to be kept close (sometimes on your lap) depending on how the luggage loads.

Are meals included?

Breakfast is included on this trip. Not all dinners are included. Any meals not explicitly listed as included are on the individual. One dinner is included on Friday (location TBD). If the group opts into the Lord Bruce estate dinner, that evening is all inclusive.

What is the Lord Bruce estate dinner?

It’s a once-only estate evening offered as an optional upgrade. It is all inclusive, including dinner, wine, and whisky. We only add it if the group wants it.

Is there free time built in?

Yes, intentionally. Tuesday afternoon is open. Wednesday and Thursday evenings are open with multiple options for dinner and drinks. Saturday afternoon and evening are fully open in Edinburgh for packing, shopping, and a relaxed finish before Sunday departures.

Schedule disclaimer Times and logistics can shift slightly based on distillery availability and operational considerations, but the core structure and experiences remain the same.
