Three regions. Three cask types. Three decades of maturation. This is the Whispering Waters lineup in miniature.
Lowlands · Single Grain · 27 Years
Girvan 27 Year
From the distillery partially owned by Clan McGregor, to which our founder's maternal grandfather belongs. Our inaugural release. 27 years in oak. Opens with rich brown butter and cinnamon, evolving into cornbread, coconut oil, and a quiet vanilla undercurrent. If you think Scotch only means malt, this will change your mind.
Highlands · Single Malt · 12 Years
Teaninich 12 Year
Teaninich is a Diageo workhorse, primarily used for blends and rarely seen as a single malt outside Scotland. Muscular and herbaceous. Grassy oils, lemon balm, and stone fruit over a rich cereal core. Refill hogshead, 56.5% cask strength. A quiet powerhouse with poise.
Speyside · Single Malt · 10 Years
Glenallachie 10 Year
Fully matured in a 1st fill Oloroso sherry cask. Rich dried fruit, dark chocolate, and toffee with a long, warming finish. Glenallachie has become one of the most sought-after Speyside distilleries for independent bottlings, and this cask shows why. Full sherry influence at cask strength.
Why This Set
These three bottles span the full range of what Whispering Waters was built to represent. A 27-year-old grain that breaks every assumption about Scotch. A 12-year-old Highland malt from a distillery most people have never heard of. A 10-year-old Speyside fully matured in sherry. Three regions, three cask types, three entirely different experiences from three single casks that will never exist again.
