The resulting sherry is syrupy, dark, and intensely sweet, carrying notes of dried fig, date, raisin, and dark chocolate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA \u003cstrong\u003efirst-fill PX cask\u003c\/strong\u003e holding a delicate Speyside distillate for nearly ten full years does not politely contribute.
